LinkedIn has taken care to listen to the opinions of its members and give them a timely response. This is why it has made a series of investments and efforts to improve the user experience and continue building an interactive community that provides news from important companies and stories that inspire or help others with professional challenges.
The company's new updates aim to continue improving content controls. The goal is for Dubai Email List users to have greater control over what they want or don't want to see in their feed , in order to personalize their experience within the platform.
Previously, the social network had announced 5 new features and functions that would help content creators and companies strengthen their profile, such as new courses, the launch of the LinkedIn Podcast Network or plans to bet on cryptocurrencies, NFTs and the metaverse.
Content Curation Control
This new control allows users to notify LinkedIn what content they are not interested in or relevant to and do not want to see more of . You just have to press the “I don't want to see this” button by clicking on the 3 dots on any publication. This function allows you to know, beyond not wanting to see a specific publication, if users are not interested in content from a creator or a particular topic.
“We have seen a number of posts expressly requesting or encouraging the community to interact with content through likes or reactions, published with the sole intention of increasing reach on the platform. We've heard that this type of content can be misleading and frustrating for some of you. We will not promote this type of content and we encourage all community members to focus on offering reliable, credible and authentic content,” the social network explained.
Likewise, this content control allows users to report a publication that violates professional community policies . The LinkedIn technical team may take action on the accused profiles, such as suspending them or completely deleting them.
Another very interesting feature that LinkedIn is incorporating is the possibility that users can decide if they want to remove political content from the feed . At the moment, this function is in a trial period among users in the United States, but if successful it will be available in more countries.
On the other hand, the platform is seeking to regulate the number of surveys present in it , which can become tedious for users if they do not feel identified with the interests and opinions of the survey. LinkedIn has announced that it will not eliminate questionnaires, but it will improve the filter used to prevent the appearance of surveys from unknown people or topics irrelevant to the user.
